1926-1951

Entre 1926 et 1951 Laurel et Hardy tournèrent pas moins d'une centaine de films. (quatre-vingt-dix-neuf si l'on excepte "Forty-five minutes from hollywood " première production d'Hal Roach dans laquelle figurent les deux acteurs. Certains s'obstinent à vouloir classer ce film dans la période "pré-tandem". Or, de toute évidence, le duo est bien constitué dès cette oeuvre même si Stan et Oliver s'étaient, en 1917, fortuitement trouvés ensemble au générique de "Lucky Dog " .)
